Brian Dokko is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, where in 2002 he earned a degree in Music Education. He has studied with many illustrious choral directors, including Donald Neuen and Jonathan Talberg, and is committed to the highest standard of excellence in choral music. He also holds a Master of Music Degree in Choral Conducting from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at the California State University, Long Beach. He has been the Director of Choral Activities at Long Beach Poly High School since the fall of 2004, where he directs six choirs, totaling about 200 students.

Our collaborative pianist, Lori Grace, has been a faculty member of the Poly Choral Music Department for two years and is an alumna of the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California, where she majored in general music/performance. Lori plays several other instruments besides piano, including organ, bass, percussion and various world music instruments from the west coast of Africa, Indonesia and South India. Her musical roots began at the age of 5 when she attempted to play the songs she heard at church. Classical, Gospel, and R&B are some of the genres in her musical history. She's also a writer, arranger, worship leader and vocalist for the church she ministers at. She considers being at Poly High School a pure blessing and lives by the motto, "The Best is Yet to Come."
